DOCTOR WHO CHRISTMAS SPECIAL REVIEW
DOCTOR WHO CHRISTMAS SPECIAL REVIEW
There will be spoilers
- First of all, I really liked the three points of view that the special started out with. The Doctor's, The Doctor's, and the guy who looked like Hitler but wasn't really.
- Also, can I just take a moment and say how much I loved that guy? He was brilliant. I really liked his thing about hope: "That's the thing about hope, it makes you scared." Well, it was something along those lines, anyways. He was ready to die and then he was saved, so he wasn't ready to die anymore.
- ALSO DID ANYONE CATCH THAT HE'S MYCROFT? LIKE, NOT LITERALLY, BUT THAT'S MYCROFT'S ACTOR.
- I really liked how they made the First Doctor come to life. The original actor, William Hartnell, is dead, but they did an amazing job bringing him back to life. I loved how they did that.
- The regeneration scene from 12 to 13 was amazing. The graphics were stunning, although a bit quick for my taste. I can't wait to see was Jodie Whittaker will do with him, er, her.
- The chaos though in that scene! She got sucked out of the TARDIS and then it disappeared and she's left in space. And that's where it ends. Then there's some things about the leaving of Steven Moffat and Peter Capaldi, which was nice, I guess, but they didn't say anything about the last scene being the last scene. Suddenly it was just Doctor Who trivia.
