Fiore Does Maximum Ride count as fantasy or sci-fi?
ReplyDeleteFandoms United
ReplyDeleteYes it does.
The characters are 'birdkids' and have wings. They all have powers and stuff too.

ReplyDeleteDoes Artemis Fowl count as sci-fi or fantasy? Or both?
ReplyDeleteFandoms United I think sci-fi, because they're creations of science
ReplyDeleteAlso maybe The Lunar Chronicles? If that series fits too?
ReplyDeleteArtemis Hayes I looked it up, and Artemis Fowl seems to be more in the fantasy genre than sci-fi. Does it have any sci-fi elements?
ReplyDeleteA little bit, considering Foaly is the head of engineering in Haven and is the creator of the guns and equipment the LEP use
ReplyDeleteNeverseen We covered Doctor Who in a previous Fandom of the Week, so we won't be posting about DW for Sci-Fi Week. Check out this collection for SuperWhoLock posts: plus.google.com - SuperWhoLock Week

The Electric City
Lazy Scranton the Electric City
They call it that ’cause of the electricity
The city’s laid out from east to west
And our public parks and libraries are truly the best
Call poison control if you’re bit by a spider
But check that it’s covered by your health care provider!
Plenty of space in the parking lot,
But the little cars go in the compact spot
Spot, spot, spot, spot …
Snack attack time, don’t lose your head
We like Cugino’s for the tasty bread

ReplyDeleteOh, and would the show Chuck count?
A Wrinkle in Time?
ReplyDeleteBriana Bennett
ReplyDeleteI don't think Chuck would count, unfortunately. I plan on posting some of it after Scifi week is don't, though!
-Echo
Shalmali Sriram I think Shatter Me and Legend both count as dystopian (we featured both of them in our recent Dystopian Week).
ReplyDeleteAnna of the Time Lords Star Wars got its own week a while ago, so we won't be posting about it this week.
ReplyDeleteHeather Donahue I think so.
ReplyDeleteAbby Sitton I looked it up, and apparently A Wrinkle in Time is "science fantasy," so I'm not sure if we should categorize it as fantasy or science fiction...
ReplyDeleteShalmali Sriram Yup, that one's sci-fi, so we can post about it this week :)
