    The Disney Fandom curse: Knowing that in every movie someone will always, at some point, die/be orphaned/have family issues; not being able to control your urge to sing spontaneously; and having to dodge heartless haters while looking like a three-year-old with your Inside Out phone case and Wreck-It Ralph t-shirts and Zootopia bag among your peers who call all animated movies "cartoons" and can't appriciate your fandom in the least.

Hey all! Guess it’s almost time for us to say goodbye... Unfortunately, we’ve been pretty inactive for the past few months, but before that, Fandoms United and Google+ was a major part of my life for several years (and that’s an understatement). I invested countless hours (and days and weeks) in this page, but I don’t regret a single minute because I got to meet so many fantastic people. I’ll always treasure the experiences I had hosting annual contests and Fandom of the Weeks, interacting with all of you in the comments, and being part of a community that loved fandoms as much as I did. I’m so glad I stumbled upon Google+ and decided to start this page back in 2014 - I still can’t believe we were able to reach so many of you (probably thanks to my shameless self-promo in the early days).
