Imagine you being someone's soulmate, but they're not yours. But you still care about them. And watch in pain and horror as they grow old and die, while you're still young and healthy. Now imagine holding them and crying as they're at the end of their life. Now imagine them asking you to sing to them. Now imagine you fulfilling their wish by singing *insert song here* And then, when you finish, their eyes lie open, a smile still on their face. You ask them if they want anything else. They don't respond. You try again. Nothing. You scream at them to tell you what's wrong. You shake them gently. They don't respond. You put your head to chest. No. NONONONONO they can't be- There's no heartbeat. They're gone. You watched your friend die. Because of you. Because you were their love. It's all your fault.
Or your soulmate isn't your soulmate. Their your best friend's. And you watch as they live happily. And you watch. Quietly. You never say a word to them. You don't see each other for years. Then, you go to a reunion. And you see them, married. You run to the bathroom and cry. Your friend comes over and you yell at her. She asks again what's wrong. And all you say is "You stole him." (Or her). They realize what they did and leave. When you see each other again, its at your friends funeral. She died of a car crash the night of the funeral. You see your soulmate watching, teary-eyed. You comfort them and they run off, blaming you. You then watch as they grow old, from a distance, of course. The enter the military. You do too. They get deployed. You do too. They die in combat. You don't. They're last words are "I'm so, so sorry." You watch as they die in you arms. Your last words to them as they leave this world. "No, I'm sorry. So, so ,so sorry. I love you."
You were the cause of his soulmates car crash. (Not on purpose, of course)
Now I want to write a book about someone who doesn't want to die and so hides inside and doesn't talk to anyone and becomes basically evil and cold to their family and the friends they had made from childhood but they accidentally end up meeting their soulmate somehow and they desperately try to hate the soulmate and avoid them thinking that it will work but end up falling in love with them in the end
I woke to the sunlight burning my eyes, in the early morn’. I slept outside again, listening to the wind and little critters running around the trees. I got up, ready to spend my millionth or so day of being eighteen years old. One day, there was a star that fell from the skies. Humans researched it and accidentally gave an effect of sorts to the rest of its race. Whether it is a curse or a blessing, no one was ever certain. But the fallen star made us unaging at the age of eighteen years. No one ever grew old, but they could still die. There was but one way to reverse this effect, and that was to find your “soulmate.” Once you found your special someone, you could start aging and grow old together. But for me, that never happened. It has been centuries, a millennia maybe, yet I still haven’t found anyone. It makes you think, perhaps there really was not anyone meant for you. Name’s James, I worked on that phrase, welcome to my one moment of eternity.
Hey y'all! Like I said in my last post, I would still love to keep in contact with anyone who's willing through my personal accounts on other platforms. So, as promised, here are some of my social media links. (The first few are more active than the rest, but I do use all of them pretty consistently, even if I don't post that often.) Please feel free to follow me, and I'll follow you back if you don't look suspicious. :) (You can also +1 or comment your profile name in this post so I know who you are.) [removed] Anyway, to follow up on my previous post... I've been scrolling through tons of old G+ posts for the past few days and thinking a lot about this page, and I've come to this conclusion: I don't think I (or any of the other managers) will be actively trying to continue this page on another social media platform. I've looked around at options like MeWe, which I've been hearing a lot about, and it seems like a great site, but I don't thin...
Hey all! Guess it’s almost time for us to say goodbye... Unfortunately, we’ve been pretty inactive for the past few months, but before that, Fandoms United and Google+ was a major part of my life for several years (and that’s an understatement). I invested countless hours (and days and weeks) in this page, but I don’t regret a single minute because I got to meet so many fantastic people. I’ll always treasure the experiences I had hosting annual contests and Fandom of the Weeks, interacting with all of you in the comments, and being part of a community that loved fandoms as much as I did. I’m so glad I stumbled upon Google+ and decided to start this page back in 2014 - I still can’t believe we were able to reach so many of you (probably thanks to my shameless self-promo in the early days). Thank you for everything. It’s truly been an honor. That said, here are our (currently also inactive but maybe not for long?) accounts on other social media platforms. If any of you have ideas for oth...
