    Actually, they changed it because in America a philosopher is someone who studies philosophy, and not a sorcerer.

    Heather Donahue As an English person I can confirm that that is what it means in England as well. Otherwise, how could we have a concept of philosophy? Also, the Philosopher's Stone is an actual mythological concept connected with alchemy, so 'sorcerer's stone' makes no sense whichever way you look at it.

I just came back from a camping trip for school, where my grade "bonded." (I'm going to a new school this year) It was fun, but I'm exhausted. AND I STILL NEED TO GO TO PING PONG PRACTICE IN AN HOUR. MY PARENTS ARE BEING MEAN :( Did you miss me?? ;) I bet you did! Or at least you missed my DOTDs, right? :P Anyway, I read a whole book while I was gone! I was going to bring my nook with me so I could finish CoHF, but we weren't allowed to bring any electronics, so I brought Legend instead. And OMG. It was SO GOOD. I really need the next book. REALLY REALLY need it. I'm officially starting high school next week. I'm excited, but super nervous!  And my dad won't let me get a new backpack! The one I have now has a messed up zipper and it's too big and it's not the prettiest color... sigh. AND my Chinese School starts this Sunday. Blah.It's my 11th year there...wow...
