Hmmm.

Hmmm. It's hard to imagine not knowing a character's back story and every thought. Those helped me formulate an opinion. So, in a way, books allow us to judge someone wholly instead of just the bits they let the world see.

  4. I think overall my favorite characters would like me as a person, and I would like them in real life as a person, because I almost always view characters as real people anyway. It means that I never obsess over the villains. I think subconsciously I sometimes chose my favorite characters because they remind me of myself, or someone I am friends with in Real Life. And please keep in mind, I'm not talking about romantic liking, just you know, regular friend liking.

Of course, my favorite character list is probably different from yours. :) MacGyver, The Doctor, Rory Williams, Clara Oswald, Luke and Leia Skywalker, Obi-wan Kenobi, Merry and Pippin, Ron Weasley, Dr. McCoy, Fenton Hardy, Robin Hood, Simon Tam, Dr. Emmett Brown, Steve Rogers, etc. Not nearly so many kick-butt, haughty, or hard to like individuals as many people seem to have on their list of favorite characters.
