I watched Allegiant today.


I watched Allegiant today.
Honestly, it wasn't too bad.
Right before the movie I cleared my mind of all the things I remembered from the book, and once I put myself in the don't-compare-to-the-book mindset, it was actually pretty good. The technology was cool. The acting was good, and the visual effects were nice.
I mean sure, if we were to think about this as a book-to-movie adaptation, it was almost unrecognizably different. But as just a movie, it wasn't bad at all.
Though I have to say...I'm not sure about the way it ended. Besides the fact that David was still alive, it seemed like it was the end. A very happy ending, which might have confused a lot of people. Maybe they should have left it as a cliffhanger...just so people who didn't know there's a second part would realize there is one more movie.
So overall, it was good as a movie, but bad as an adaptation. Like I expected.

    The lack of Uriah in the movie pisses me off. He's an important character and there is not a sign of him in this movie.

    I couldn't handle the ending. My friend and I were so confused and I don't know what to do I mean I'm happy but also disappointed, is that bad?

    I saw it last weekend and if you can look past the part that its not exactly like the book and you can just look at it for a movie its good. I personally liked it. Who knew that it would end up being a four part series the next movie is Acendent.

I just came back from a camping trip for school, where my grade "bonded." (I'm going to a new school this year) It was fun, but I'm exhausted. AND I STILL NEED TO GO TO PING PONG PRACTICE IN AN HOUR.
