Hey all!

Guess it’s almost time for us to say goodbye...

Unfortunately, we’ve been pretty inactive for the past few months, but before that, Fandoms United and Google+ was a major part of my life for several years (and that’s an understatement). I invested countless hours (and days and weeks) in this page, but I don’t regret a single minute because I got to meet so many fantastic people. I’ll always treasure the experiences I had hosting annual contests and Fandom of the Weeks, interacting with all of you in the comments, and being part of a community that loved fandoms as much as I did. I’m so glad I stumbled upon Google+ and decided to start this page back in 2014 - I still can’t believe we were able to reach so many of you (probably thanks to my shameless self-promo in the early days). Thank you for everything. It’s truly been an honor.

That said, here are our (currently also inactive but maybe not for long?) accounts on other social media platforms. If any of you have ideas for other ways in which we can stay in contact after Google+ shuts down, please let me know in the comments.

    G+ has been all but dead for the last few months, years tbh. But I'm gonna miss it. About 2 or 3 years ago I used it more than Twitter. Now no one that I befriended even uses it anymore.

    Don't listen to the them. The ENTIRE Google community is going WITH it(In the future(Or not whichever)).(Also MeWe was still open for Fandoms United, right?)

    Chiko was here I totally agree. Unfortunately, a lot of the people (including the managers) I met here have moved on from G+, which is partly why I stopped posting so consistently - no one was really seeing the posts anymore.

    MeWe platform is very similar to Google plus. I think fandomsunited would fit right in and the fandom fun can continue!

    Fandoms United MeWe is a fantastic alternative to Gplus! You can have personal profiles, pages and communities. It is a lot of fun to use and is an extremely comparable alternative to gplus.

    Maybe create a website or something like that. I always loved the HTTYD posts from you. <3 I don't actually have any other social media currently, but I will eventually when I go to publish my book.

    I'll miss all your fandom postings. It was nice to find posts about fandoms that I didn't know others were into, like me. :D

I just got back from the library and I'm so excited to readddddddd I got ten books! I'll list them here. I just came back from a camping trip for school, where my grade "bonded." (I'm going to a new school this year) It was fun, but I'm exhausted. AND I STILL NEED TO GO TO PING PONG PRACTICE IN AN HOUR. MY PARENTS ARE BEING MEAN :( Did you miss me?? ;) I bet you did! Or at least you missed my DOTDs, right? :P Anyway, I read a whole book while I was gone! I was going to bring my nook with me so I could finish CoHF, but we weren't allowed to bring any electronics, so I brought Legend instead. And OMG. It was SO GOOD. I really need the next book. REALLY REALLY need it. I'm officially starting high school next week. I'm excited, but super nervous!  And my dad won't let me get a new backpack! The one I have now has a messed up zipper and it's too big and it's not the prettiest color... sigh. AND my Chinese School starts this Sunday. Blah.It's my 11th year there...wow...
