Hey y'all! Like I said in my last post, I would still love to keep in contact with anyone who's willing through my personal accounts on other platforms. I've been scrolling through tons of old G+ posts for the past few days and thinking a lot about this page, and I've come to this conclusion: I don't think I (or any of the other managers) will be actively trying to continue this page on another social media platform. I've looked around at options like MeWe, which I've been hearing a lot about, and it seems like a great site, but I don't thin...
Also he broke a tooth and super glued the chip back on during Helm's Deep filming, and broke his toe in the scene where he kicks the Uruk Hai helmet when he despaired of finding Merry and Pippin. The shot when he broke his toe was used in the film, he used the pain to channel his performance. The Orc stunt men were terrified of him, because he was so violent in his swordplay. He'd never read The Lord of the Rings when he was cast, and spent the flight to New Zealand reading it. He became enough of a fan, that when Peter Jackson offered him a role as Aragorn in the Hobbit movies, he turned it down because Aragorn wasn't in the book. He also cleaned his costumes himself. Viggo Mortensen is one of my heroes.

ReplyDeleteOh and the dagger the Uruk-hai threw was actually an actual metal dagger when it was supposed to be a prop material
ReplyDeleteHoly- my respect for this man has gone up 10x and I had a huge crush on him when I was 5 and first watched the movies. This is just amazing.
