Don't worry, guys, this theory has been debunked! As a clever fan pointed out, if Harry had been holding the lollipop, it would have been invisible too. So that means it had just stuck onto the cloak, and Harry didn't mean to take it.
I feel much better now.

    He didn't steal his lollipop. You would've seen his hand reach out for the lollipop and you would've watched the lollipop disappear inside his cloak. The lollipop simply got stuck to his cloak.
