I love the endings to John green books a lot actually

I love how they never really have completely perfect happy endings. Example: we never know if Alaska committed suicide or not, Gus still died, Margo was just a girl. Just a person but it was beautiful.
I don't know I can't really explain why I find it so satisfying how it doesn't end perfectly every time.

    A few friends who read Paper Towns commented to me that they dislike the ending. Personally, I find them refreshing, down to earth. John Green's books all have that wonderful little magic in them and yet the ending is simple, real. I love it.
