Hey guys! So I don’t know if you remember but a few months ago, we were having this Lunar Chronicles movie contest. Unfortunately, it didn´t work out really well cause the hashtag didn’t show all the nominees and there were too many vote counts. So I decided that it will go this way: we’re going to the game all over again, but this time, the candidate will be already chosen. So all you have to do is vote from the poll. That way it will be easier and fair. I will discuss it with people who read the series too and all that so I can get a better candidate/nominee for you. At the end, I will post a video with the final cast! So let’s get started!!!!

ReplyDeleteWhat bothers me is that even though some characters are explicitly stated to be mixed race (see: almost all Lunars), people still fancast them as white. I hope this will go a long way to rectify that~

Nur Fettahoglu (spelling?) + makeup and CGI should definitely be a candidate for unglamoured Levana. As Gulbahar, she captures bitterness so well especially along the lines of losing love or wanting love and being replaced and being overshadowed.
