+yusra no it could b anything but VOLDERMORT was very keen on self preservation he wouldn't have let the horcrux es out of his sight a penny can be easily destroyed graves can rot underwear is soiled.... Batteries are burnt and tho it takes more than that to destroy a horcrux there's no telling wat could happen to these ordinary things for all he knew they could've been destroyed easier than items of power after all not many ppl make horcrux es it's not like he knew exactly wat was going to happen
He could lose these things easily he wanted something sturdy and powerful, something that could not be easily destroyed or lost he wants to keep his soul in places where he can find it not in the hands of strangers or Godrics hollow so,etching would've happened to muggles with the penny and officials would b sent to investigate and voldermort would b vulnerable. He needed something he had full control of. So he chose objects of power that many ppl did not know existed, he thought he was being clever, but he wasnt
Eesha Jain yeah but he could just have the penny with him like in a coin pouch or jar. No one would probably still suspect it. Then again a random piece of muggle money might be kinda suspicious.
MLG Nightmare 'cept most of his horcruxes were made before they were dead. Nagini i think he made after. Or he made her into one before. But im pretty sure it was after... it was when he killed that one lady and nagini used her skin and it was really gross.
The underwear is a good one. But Wizards don't use muggle stuff so the battery is out. And they don't use muggle coins too. And didn't Voldemort create the Horcruxes when he was Tom Riddle and still in school? So he didn't kill Lily and James yet.
Perhaps not a penny, but a knut. Not underwear, but his robes maybe. Not a battery, but a similar thing, a wizard equivalent. Not the gravestone, he was "dead!"
the question is, would you really put half of your souls in to those things? Horcrux aren't just something to make you immortal, it's part of your very own soul, dude...
Voldemort wouldnt be able to find the penny and eventually the graves would disappear he wouldnt want part of his soul in a pair of underwear and batteries are all burned eventually
Lol Voldemorts a little extranvagent to do those thing and most of these are Muggle items so yeah he would know what they are since hes Muggle-born and from living in the orphanage but its very unlikely
Valarie Morgan oh god xD i can imagine harry saying "what? i've already destroyed 6 hocruxes, where's the seventh?" and voldemort starts prancing around shaking an underwear in front of harry :D
Hey y'all! Like I said in my last post, I would still love to keep in contact with anyone who's willing through my personal accounts on other platforms. So, as promised, here are some of my social media links. (The first few are more active than the rest, but I do use all of them pretty consistently, even if I don't post that often.) Please feel free to follow me, and I'll follow you back if you don't look suspicious. :) (You can also +1 or comment your profile name in this post so I know who you are.) [removed] Anyway, to follow up on my previous post... I've been scrolling through tons of old G+ posts for the past few days and thinking a lot about this page, and I've come to this conclusion: I don't think I (or any of the other managers) will be actively trying to continue this page on another social media platform. I've looked around at options like MeWe, which I've been hearing a lot about, and it seems like a great site, but I don't thin...
Hey all! Guess it’s almost time for us to say goodbye... Unfortunately, we’ve been pretty inactive for the past few months, but before that, Fandoms United and Google+ was a major part of my life for several years (and that’s an understatement). I invested countless hours (and days and weeks) in this page, but I don’t regret a single minute because I got to meet so many fantastic people. I’ll always treasure the experiences I had hosting annual contests and Fandom of the Weeks, interacting with all of you in the comments, and being part of a community that loved fandoms as much as I did. I’m so glad I stumbled upon Google+ and decided to start this page back in 2014 - I still can’t believe we were able to reach so many of you (probably thanks to my shameless self-promo in the early days). Thank you for everything. It’s truly been an honor. That said, here are our (currently also inactive but maybe not for long?) accounts on other social media platforms. If any of you have ideas for oth...
His last name was Riddle. You'd think he'd come up with something creative
ReplyDeleteit had to be something That was valuable to him though, right?
ReplyDeleteA piece of mac and cheese
ReplyDeleteBut maybe they have to have some kind of link to you? At an emotional level?

Pride = downfall
ReplyDeleteEesha Jain yeah but he could just have the penny with him like in a coin pouch or jar. No one would probably still suspect it. Then again a random piece of muggle money might be kinda suspicious.
ReplyDeleteCould've made one a key, then turned it into a rock, and threw it in the ocean
ReplyDeleteMLG Nightmare 'cept most of his horcruxes were made before they were dead. Nagini i think he made after. Or he made her into one before. But im pretty sure it was after... it was when he killed that one lady and nagini used her skin and it was really gross.
ReplyDeleteOnly... He wouldn't have considered a stone grave of someone he disposed off or a penny as worthy enough to hoist a part of his soul.
ReplyDelete(Spoilt child)
Also he wouldn't have know what the heck a damn battery is because he acted like a pure blood wizard.
Didn't he make the horocruxes before he killed Lilly and James?
ReplyDeleteAl Sah-him exactly. Except nagini
ReplyDeleteCharlotte shadows lmao The one that shouldn't be named isn't a dumb fuck the person who made the picture is smh
ReplyDeleteCharlotte shadows don't get me wrong the others are smart but still the last one is a no brainer
ReplyDeleteCharlotte shadows not to mention easy to lose lol
ReplyDeleteEesha Jain You need a special Weapon to destroy the Horocruxes so ths penny can't physically be destroyed so that one is smart
ReplyDeleteRofl
ReplyDeleteThe last one he couldn't do; he'd already died.
ReplyDeleteMet Munson EXACTLY

ReplyDeleteVidhula Prasanna that's what I was discussing
ReplyDeleteA nokia
ReplyDeleteMLG Nightmare yep, totally
ReplyDeleteHow about his limited edition comic book, SOMETHING ORIGINAL
ReplyDeletePerhaps not a penny, but a knut.
ReplyDeleteNot underwear, but his robes maybe.
Not a battery, but a similar thing, a wizard equivalent.
Not the gravestone, he was "dead!"
A pebble
ReplyDeletethe question is, would you really put half of your souls in to those things?

Voldemort wouldnt be able to find the penny and eventually the graves would disappear he wouldnt want part of his soul in a pair of underwear and batteries are all burned eventually
ReplyDeleteThe tombstones would be good if he wasn't still in school and his parents were dead when he made the horcruxes
ReplyDeleteYou nean a nut cuz they don't have pennies
ReplyDeleteValarie Morgan for some reason I started laughing when you mentioned the word 'underwear' ;)
ReplyDeleteHe should have used a nokia. No one can ever destroy them.
ReplyDeleterandom british guy yeah, a man who despise anything muggle related... he should use one of muggle invention for part of his soul...
ReplyDeleteDaniel Hartono oh yes because a crown and a necklace dont exist in the muggle world do they?
ReplyDeleteSeriously! He is not a very smart hotrcrux maker!!!
ReplyDeleteWOW! What great ideas, but it would not have helped develop the plot the way that it was .
ReplyDeleteThe last one was not necessary
ReplyDeleteI'd go for a satellite. Good luck getting that, Potter. Maybe Ron can actually invent a broomstick capable of reaching Jupiter.
ReplyDeleteSarah P haha I meant a nokia brick
ReplyDeleteWho authorized this post?
ReplyDeleteVoldemort liked really grand things, so he wouldn't use any of these, but good ideas! In case I want to make horcruxes and be Voldemort 2.0.
ReplyDeleteLol Voldemorts a little extranvagent to do those thing and most of these are Muggle items so yeah he would know what they are since hes Muggle-born and from living in the orphanage but its very unlikely
