I attempt to convert everyone I know into that fandom... Yup... And usually make my bookclub read it if that's not how I discovered it in the first place... cough Gallagher Girls cough Lunar Chronicles cough Wings cough
Huh... Wow that's just as much coughing as I've been doing in real life because of this cold... Hmm
Some advice: The trick to getting people to join your Fandoms, is to tempt them. Tell them all about those books. Tell them they might not like it. Keep telling them funny stuff from those books. Tell them it's awesome but they may not like it.
Please tell me someone has read the "Gone" serie by Michael Grant. I need somebody to speak with !!! Because you know something that's not gone ? FEELINGS !!!!!!
Abby Emerson Yay! It's such an old book not many people read it. In my family though.........we're not considered women until we've read the Anne books :)
Hey y'all! Like I said in my last post, I would still love to keep in contact with anyone who's willing through my personal accounts on other platforms. So, as promised, here are some of my social media links. (The first few are more active than the rest, but I do use all of them pretty consistently, even if I don't post that often.) Please feel free to follow me, and I'll follow you back if you don't look suspicious. :) (You can also +1 or comment your profile name in this post so I know who you are.) [removed] Anyway, to follow up on my previous post... I've been scrolling through tons of old G+ posts for the past few days and thinking a lot about this page, and I've come to this conclusion: I don't think I (or any of the other managers) will be actively trying to continue this page on another social media platform. I've looked around at options like MeWe, which I've been hearing a lot about, and it seems like a great site, but I don't thin...
Hey all! Guess it’s almost time for us to say goodbye... Unfortunately, we’ve been pretty inactive for the past few months, but before that, Fandoms United and Google+ was a major part of my life for several years (and that’s an understatement). I invested countless hours (and days and weeks) in this page, but I don’t regret a single minute because I got to meet so many fantastic people. I’ll always treasure the experiences I had hosting annual contests and Fandom of the Weeks, interacting with all of you in the comments, and being part of a community that loved fandoms as much as I did. I’m so glad I stumbled upon Google+ and decided to start this page back in 2014 - I still can’t believe we were able to reach so many of you (probably thanks to my shameless self-promo in the early days). Thank you for everything. It’s truly been an honor. That said, here are our (currently also inactive but maybe not for long?) accounts on other social media platforms. If any of you have ideas for oth...
