    The resolve to the dress, proven by science, is it is actually blue and black (sadly...I'm annoyed because I see white and gold...), but the lighting in the picture, being a blue tint, makes people's eyes perceive it as its inverted colors of white and gold. So don't argue with each other about it, blame our eye perception.

    heaven caillie i see white and gold also, but the dress itself is black and blue. It is just the certain lighting of the picture that makes our eyes see it as white and gold. It is really weird how eye science works....
