I watched the Maze Runner today, and it was AMAZING.

I watched the Maze Runner today, and it was AMAZING. Albeit some inaccuracy, and (SPOILERS FOR TMR) the fact that Thomas and Teresa didn't have the telepathic link, I thought it was wonderful and all the main ideas from the book passed on to the movie wonderfully.

  3. Ahsiya Nur Well of course I watched it in a movie theatre, it isn't out on DVD ;-) It's just that if I disclosed which theatre I went to, everyone would know which area I live in.
Meghana Kumar YES IT IS WONDERFUL. Read the book first though Meggy :-)

  5. Fandoms United Nikhil the Gryffenclaw loric- ok thank you :) . i'll watch it soon . By the way, I have read the entire series :D. But the first book was the best!

  6. Meghana Kumar Don't spoil anything for me! I have to wait a year to get the next book and there's all this talk about Theresa vs Trenda and I don't want spoilers.

  8. GAWD that was a long comment. Let's just say, I was so worked up to see this movie, and then it missed a lot of the details that I would've loved to have seen. The book's one of my favorites, which made me a lot stricter about the movie I guess, but in my opinion, the movie kinda ruined the book.

  9. minor movie spoilers I had a complete rant over the maze runner after I saw it. They forgot newt's limp! They had like 10 survivors on a helicopter instead if 50 on a bus!

  10. The books are better.
    Spoilers below!!!!

They got out of the maze by punching in numbers not the words they figured out.

  11. Katie Mcghee Lol ikr. But aren't there 21 or something?

  12. Riya Thomas the remaining gladers in the scorch trials say they had stArted with roughly 50 boys who got out of the maze.

  14. Check out my review for the film, you Maze Runner fanatics.

  15. They left out majorly cool and important parts. And they used normal words, like only a few times did they say shank, shuk or clunk. I guess the movie doesn't have any boring parts, but I am pretty disappointed.

Very true😞 I was actually looking forward for more Glade language 😣

  17. I wish they had the words as the code and they found the code due to the letters that maze gave out. But i did like how the number sequence was the code

  24. movie was well made but very badly written. total mess! it should have been longer with more ideas following the book put in it... grievers were pathetic. It had potential to be better than hunger games.guess you ladies only loved for all those guys:) I'm afraid what other movies will be like .

  25. Jeffrey Hawkins It's called a trilogy...

  26. I know the author & my understanding from our conversations is that the hope is always that the essence of the book is captured. If a movie does that it is a success. Imagine giving someone permission to do that with your work & hoping that they don't lose the integrity of the concept. He's very happy with it by the way.

  27. I didn't really like the book series. It was a cool concept at first, but I don't like how Teresa was portrayed and I don't really like most of the characters. Well, I kind of liked one but I won't give away any spoilers. I might see the film anyway though because not much else is on. :(

  28. WHAT?! NO TELEPATHY!!!! THAT'S TELA-PATHETIC!!!

  29. that's a success. WAIT, YOU'VE HEARD OF THE MAZE RUNNER?!

  30. I really want to see the movie!!! I have read the book and it was AMAZING, one of my fav. books.

  31. ..why did you plus one this if you didn't know what it was....?

    ReplyDelete
  32. It was a really good movie! Im reading the book now!

    ReplyDelete
  33. the movie was LOADS better than the book. i hope if they do the rest of the series, they DON'T go by the books!!

    ReplyDelete
  34. Riya Thomas I personally thought that except for telepathy, all the main ideas were there in the movie. Many ideas were just changed a little, like the numbers vs letters.

  35. And unless the book sucks (which the Maze Runner didn't in my opinion), I always like the book more than the movie.
